<p>She's 63 today. She's my mom. Like most people with mothers, I kind of owe a lot to her, don't I? Unlike the <a title="Belated birthday, the beginning of spring, my secret coffee place" href="/2014/03/belated-birthday-beginning-spring-secret-coffee-place/">belated birthday</a> party for my brother, we plan on celebrating this one on time.</p>
<p>Here's a picture of her — with my dad thrown in for good measure — from a time before I was around:</p>

<p>It's crazy to me to think that I'm older <em>now</em> than both of them were when this picture was taken. This year I'll turn the same age my parents were when that had me.</p>
