<p>That's all I have the energy to write about before I fall asleep in about 5 minutes. Today we drove from Subotica to Novi Sad and stayed with family in an adorable house just off the Danube. Many homemade things and fresh things from the garden — including smokva. It may be the only Serbian I remember. But that's okay.</p>

<p>Tomorrow (I hope): stories and photos about the third largest synagogue in the world, gas stations in Europe, walking along the Danube and communicating when you don't share a common language.</p>
