<p>These are the kind of jokes and trains of thought that amuse me after flying for 15+ hours and being awake for 24 hours straight. Thankfully there are $8 Americanos available at the airport here in Zurich to wake me up. Holy. Shit. I remember being in Iceland last year and meeting a woman from Switzerland who said she was surprised that things in Iceland seemed cheaper and reasonable. I think my jaw literally dropped. Iceland came with its own fair amount of sticker-shock — particularly having just spent the previous three months in South America — but I remember at that moment thinking Switzerland needs to be on my list of places to be extra careful when budgeting for travel.</p>
